OFFICIAL NEEDOH MEDICAL UPDATE:

Please. Give them some space.

After their prolonged detention in Leesburg, the Needohs are physically free, but emotionally... they are still in Virginia.

They are currently resting, being counted, medically evaluated, and slowly reintegrated into society.

Some are dehydrated. Some are disoriented. One Nice Cube just keeps staring silently out the window.

They have been through enough.

Once medically cleared, they will be released into the loving arms of their forever families.

Please respect their privacy.

And for God's sake, nobody mention FedEx.

Well, we survived the Great Needoh Drop of 9/2026.

And you guys were AMAZING.

FedEx tried its absolute damnedest to foil this entire thing.

The missing 14 CASES hurt.

And they aren't lost.

Oh no.

FedEx knows EXACTLY where they are.

LEESBURG, VIRGINIA.

Apparently FedEx can move a package across half the damn country, but the final hop from Leesburg to Charles Town requires a passport, three forms of government ID, favorable winds, and an act of Congress.

Fourteen cases.

Sitting in Leesburg.

So close we can practically hear them squish.

But despite FedEx deciding that the Virginia/West Virginia border is where modern transportation ends, today was still AWESOME.

So THANK YOU.

Thank you for being patient. Thank you for laughing with us. Thank you for being friendly to each other. Thank you for following the limits without forcing us to become the Needoh Police.

And a little reminder...

We are not Walmart. We are not Target. We do not have a godzillion employees, a social media department, a customer service department, and some poor intern whose entire job is answering Facebook comments.

It is us.

The people unloading boxes are the people ringing you up, restocking shelves, answering the phone, answering Facebook messages, posting updates, and refreshing FedEx tracking just in case someone over there suddenly discovers West Virginia.

And today you made all of that crazy FUN.

People were nice. People laughed. Complete strangers helped each other and compared Needoh like they were negotiating international trade agreements.

THAT is what we want The Hobbies Shop to be.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for supporting a small local business. And most of all, thank you for being genuinely NICE to us and to each other.

FedEx may have successfully transported 14 cases of Needoh all the way to Leesburg and then apparently declared the mission accomplished...

But they did not ruin our day.

Lord knows they gave it one hell of a try.

This is my warm version, to remind people that we are only human.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for today’s Needoh drop!

Considering FedEx did its absolute best to turn this entire thing into an international hostage situation, today was still AWESOME.

Yes, the missing 14 cases hurt. A lot. We ordered them. We wanted them here. We know you wanted them here. Unfortunately, we cannot sell Needoh that FedEx is apparently taking on a sightseeing tour.

We also want to gently remind everyone that The Hobbies Shop is a small, locally owned business. We are not a big box store with a godzillion employees, a dedicated social media department, and six people hiding in the back answering messages. The same people helping customers, ringing the register, unpacking boxes, stocking shelves, and cleaning up are also the people trying to answer your comments and messages.

And today, you all made that job so much easier.

People were patient. People were friendly. People helped each other. Nobody turned the Needoh table into the Hunger Games. 😂

THAT is the kind of community we want here.

Thank you for being kind to us and, even more importantly, for being kind to each other.

The Great Needoh Shortage of 2026 continues... and apparently so does our complicated relationship with FedEx.I can also make this a little funnier and snarkier about the 14 missing cases without losing the thank-you tone.
