And just like that....... HGC's Martinsburg Farmers Market season is over......🌱
Today was the final Martinsburg Farmers Market of the 2026 season for Healing Garden Collective, and I’m feeling ALL the emotions. Last outside market for the season for the sake of tropical plants... 🥹💚
Back in February, I took a leap of faith and started HGC. I didn’t know exactly where it would lead, how things would grow, or if people would believe in this little dream of mine. Especially with working a 9-5 job.... doing this side gig on the weekends.
I just knew I loved plants, creating things with my hands, and the feeling of bringing a little bit of joy, beauty, and healing into someone’s home. 🌱✨
And then came the farmers market.....
What started as a table of plants and handmade goodies slowly became so much more. It became conversations with strangers who turned into familiar faces. Customers who came back week after week. People cheering me on. Little moments that made the long days, early mornings, all the behind-the-scenes work worth it.
Today, as I packed up my booth for the last time this year, I couldn’t help but look around and think about how far that little February leap of faith has taken me.
I started this business not knowing what would happen… and somehow, it grew into something I’m incredibly proud to call mine. 🥹🌿
To every single person who stopped at my booth this season - whether you bought something, said hello, complimented my plants, shared a post, brought a friend, or simply encouraged me...... thank you. You became a part of HGC’s story, and I’m so grateful. 💚
Thank you for accepting me, Kathryn Rowley as a vendor. Forever greatful for everything. You helped me get my foot in the door as a baby vendor for the Market 🌱
I met some awesome friends along the way, doing this as well. Full Heart Baking, Angel Wings Confectionery, Mountain Dogs Lemonade, Eclectic Crafty Designs WV, Angel Trail Soaps, Two Moms' and a Cupcake, Healing Harvest, LLC, MdStitchery, Alita Moon, Sugar Poody's, LLC...... most importantly thank you to my mother who owns Deliciously Homemade. I appreciate your support always. 💗
Shoutout to my friends Erin and Summer at Crafted Comforts for stopping by and getting this picture, I didn't take to many photos at the event so I am glad I have this one with yall. 💚
Today wasn’t just the end of a market season.
It was a little reminder of what can happen when you take a chance on yourself. ✨
But this isn't the end... you can still find my handpainted pots inside of the Wandering Roots Market, join me on my Palmstreet LIVES, and might find me at a pop up event if the conditions are right....😉 ✨️🌿
Here’s to everything HGC has grown into....and everything that’s still waiting to bloom. 🌱
Thank you, forever greatful... 💚
