VULNERABLE POST INCOMING:
Before becoming a mom, I thought I trusted myself.

Then suddenly there was a tiny human depending on me for everything, and every decision seemed to come with a million opinions and Instagram posts telling me what I “should” be doing.

Did I breastfeed for long enough?

Am I feeding her homemade meals of baby food?

Am I spoiling her by cosleeping?

Did I give her red 40 in her antibiotics? (This one still haunts me 🫠)

Am I doing enough?

I could go on and on…I found myself second-guessing everything.

Using a pendulum hasn’t magically given me all the answers, but it has given me something I didn’t realize I was losing: the habit of checking in with myself and trusting my inner sense of knowing. It has become a reminder to pause and listen to my own intuition.

Because sometimes the hardest part isn’t making the decision. It’s trusting yourself enough to believe you can.

This 2-in-1 pendulum necklace was inspired by that feeling. A piece of jewelry that serves as a delicate, wearable reminder to keep your intuition close.

Have you found yourself second-guessing more since becoming a parent?

This necklace is still available in amethyst and Opalite- new styles coming soon. Click the link in my bio to see more.

Sticking with the chunky theme of this week, check out these Java glass and hand painted glass Krobo bead bracelets! The beads range in size from 10mm – 14mm.

I love the deep blue of these glass beads, and together, they make a great pair! I actually think it would be a crime to wear one without the other 😂

How would you style these bracelets? Let me know in the comments! I’m rocking them with wide legged jeans and an oversized white T-shirt.

I know summer technically is not here yet… but with the heat and humidity lately, it definitely feels like it is. 😂 And there is something about this weather that always pulls me toward glass beads.

This chunky bracelet is made with recycled African glass rondelle, faceted Java glass, a singular bone bead, warm brass spacers, and a large and in charge moss agate teardrop focal.

Originally, I was worried that the green color would give Christmas vibes, but I think the mix of greens feels so earthy and grounding.

Now available in the Etsy shop! Click the link in my bio for more!

When I say handmade, this is what I mean (and this video is sped up 9x!) 😂

Every single bead is individually strung by hand by me. I source my materials from other small businesses, then sit down and (sometimes painstakingly 😂) piece everything together one bead at a time. Not to mention, half the time I end up changing the design while I’m working, which usually means restringing sections multiple times until I’m finally satisfied with the overall design.

So when you support my business, you are getting something that was truly assembled with my own two hands (and occasionally a pair of pliers). Every piece carries the time, intention, and design decisions that happened along the way.

Last week was a busy week of packing orders and making trips to the post office! Here are all the bracelets that found new homes last week!

Because my items are most often no more than 2-3 or a kind, one of the hardest decisions I have to make when creating something, is deciding whether I should list it on Etsy, or drop it off with one of my local stockists (so grateful for you all!) so it can be shopped in-person.

I wish I could say that I had a well-researched decision aid to help with this, but I don’t. Usually I: (1) go with my gut, (2) think about what might appeal more to locals/tourists in Charleston and (3) consider which items I’m not ready to part with 😂

Since I always enjoy sharing my work with my family and my mom was in town this week, I thought I’d pick her brain and see what she thought about where each bracelet should go. We had some slight differences in opinion, but we agreed on most!

…and she even left with a new bracelet for herself and another that I’m pretty sure she added to her cart the second the Etsy listing went live 😂

Stay tuned to see all of the new pieces I have been working on and where you can shop them!

Can you guess which one was mom’s favorite? Let me know in the comments below! 👇

🌺 It’s restock season, and next up is 🌸🌷

Crystals and plants just go together. I don’t make the rules, but it’s definitely true! And this restock was all about pendulums… although I couldn’t resist dropping off a bracelet and a pair of earrings or two.

Why pendulums you might ask? Well, in addition to crystal specimens, they sell beautiful dowsing boards made of selenite, so why not pendulums?!

Be sure to check out all of their beautiful plants and pots (I treated myself to a hand painted evil eye pot a while back, and it is now the home of the cutest little plant!), local vendors, and chocolate at the counter 😂

These crescent moon bracelets sold out before I had a chance to post them, but I love how they came out so much that I wanted to share them anyway!

… not to mention, I snagged another strand of jadeite, so I may make more soon! Although, if you know me, you know, they won’t be exactly the same as the original two designs!
