One thing became very clear after our last post… you all really love our custom stair runners. So we thought we’d share a little more about what makes them (and our wool carpet) so different.
It all starts with the wool.
We use some of the finest wool in the world, sourced from Banks Peninsula in New Zealand. The sheep raised there produce exceptionally white wool, giving us the perfect foundation to print and closely match virtually any color.
Unlike traditional carpet manufacturers, our advanced printing process allows us to produce custom designs in small quantities. That means we’re free to experiment with color instead of sticking to the “safe” palettes that dominate the industry. The result? More beautiful, personalized options without the higher custom price tag.
Our printed borders are built right into the design, so we can create seamless stair landings without the hand-stitching and mitered corners typically required. We also produce wall-to-wall broadloom with integrated borders and custom-shaped stair runners, making installation easier while reducing fabrication costs.
Our tufted wool has a timeless look and feel, similar to a classic Wilton carpet. And because it’s 100% wool, it’s naturally sustainable, incredibly durable, and one of the easiest flooring materials to keep clean. In fact wool carpet is often referred to as “the ultimate performance material” and with no chemicals!
