PART ONE

I have been working on starting this business for almost a year now and let me tell you, some of the biggest roadblocks I have come across have been of my own creation! Accepting that I was responsible for most of the struggles I was facing was a huge hurdle to jump!

Do you have a vision you would like to see become your reality? A dream that you would like to create/manifest? A goal you would like to achieve? What is holding you back?!

Some reasons you may be putting off your dream(s) or something that you are passionate about could be :

*Not enough time

*Too tired

*Fear of failure/success/the unknown/change

*Other people's opinions

*Other people's judgments

*Limiting beliefs

*It's not the right time/ waiting for the right time

* Believing that you're not deserving/good enough

* Limited finances

* Already overwhelmed

* Trouble staying focused

* Saying yes to things when you want to say no

* Not prioritizing what is important to you

* Procrastination

* Perfectionism

* Feelings (beliefs) of inadequacy

* Low confidence/intimidated by all there is to learn

* Comparison to others

*Listening to dream crushers

* Replaying old tapes (voices from the past telling you that you can't, you're not good enough, you're going to fail, etc.)

While some of these may be perceived as genuine reasons, a lot of the time, they are also excuses disguised as reasons. I have experienced each item on the above list at one point or another, and what's really wild is that I discovered that for each of those, my perception and my belief systems were a huge part of the creation. My self-talk and limiting beliefs were my biggest saboteurs. 🤯

Once you know, you can't unknown...so what's next?

Welcome to The Maiden, Mother and Crone!!! 🤍💚🖤

I started The Maiden, Mother, and Crone with the vision of creating an online store that provides high-quality products at affordable prices. I work in animal rescue, and Alex, my wife, just took a job working at an emergency vet clinic, getting half the pay of her previous job. On top of that Alex is a full-time student working towards becoming a veterinarian. Our (fur) family has grown and our vet bills have increased. We have a house full of rescue kiddos (animals), two with Cancer, one with an enlarged heart, one with asthma, another with an eye disorder ...and a dozen more with basic annual vet needs. When Kitten, my soul dog, ended up with Cancer we went from tight budgeting and plummeted directly into debt that continues to grow. Throw in Student debt and our own medical bills and it was time to get creative. 

As many of you know, it is easy to lose hope and, in many ways, yourself, as life shows up. So, here we are, combining things that I love to support our family. I hope that in the process I can help support YOU in finding things that remind you that you are beautifully, uniquely you!

I'm starting out with clothing, will be branching out into household items, and eventually I plan to get creative and hope to include things that will feed your mind, body and spirit!  I will add new items every week, so keep your eyes open... You just may see something that will make your heart smile!
