I never really told this part of the story.

When KB Treat Shop stopped, I couldโ€™ve just said โ€œwell, that happenedโ€ and moved on. And for a while I tried to.

But I had too many questions.

I wanted to know what I did right, what I did wrong, what I didnโ€™t know, and what I wouldโ€™ve done differently if I ever got the chance to do it again.

And somehow all of those questions turned into something completely different.

Because why did we do all that math just for you to get to the customer and start getting shaky??

You included your time.
You chose your profit.

Imagine a tree falling on your house and your followers being likeโ€ฆ welp, guess weโ€™re done here too. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

I had to abruptly stop my dessert business after a tree fell on my home, and watching the audience I built slowly disappear was WILD.

But looking back, that interruption changed the way I thought about my business completely.

Because I think sometimes we get so focused on getting into the event, making enough product and having a cute setup that we forget the whole reason weโ€™re there is to actually make money.

And selling a lot doesnโ€™t automatically mean the event was profitable either. ๐Ÿ‘€

Thatโ€™s exactly why I added an Event Planner to Sweet Price. I want to know what this event needs to do BEFORE Iโ€™m standing under a tent hoping for the best. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ

Sometimes it takes stepping away from something to finally see what you couldnโ€™t see while you were in it.

A lot of what I learned after leaving my treat business eventually turned into Sweet Price ๐Ÿ’œ and now I know WAY more than I did the first time around.

Meanwhile, ask me what that recipe ACTUALLY cost me to make and suddenly Iโ€™m looking just like this. ๐Ÿคจ

Ingredients, packaging, how many treats the batch actually madeโ€ฆ all of that matters.

I wish I had paid more attention to this side of the business when I had KB Treat Shop, because being able to make good treats was never the problem. Knowing my numbers? Whew. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

So yeahโ€ฆ I made something that can fix that. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ
