Today is one year since I lost my Mom. It doesn’t feel like a year. I opened my FB and saw this that seems like it was written just for me for today. Why can’t heaven have a phone or FaceTime? I miss her more than I could’ve imagined.

“IF YOU ARE A WOMAN WITHOUT HER MOTHER [**and you had a good relationship**]
There will never be a day you don’t miss her.
Never a day, where you don’t wish you could hear her voice or ask for her advice just one more time.
There will never be a moment that you don’t regret all the times you screened her call, or missed a visit, simply because life was just too busy.
And now you realise busy is fake, it isn’t real.
She was real and she is gone.
And you are alone.
And the feeling of abandonment and loneliness is huge. Mind-blowing, no matter how loved or surrounded by family you may be.
None of it is her.
When the woman who brought you into this world is no longer here, it is a lonely place.
And you are now she.
You are now the one expected to guide, to discipline, to love, to handle everything, for everyone. And that is a shock.
But you got this.
Because she taught you well.
She made you right and she made you strong and she filled you with enough love to share around, even after she was gone.
So go on.
And make her proud.
And remember, look out for the little girl who still lives inside you somewhere, she misses her Mama very much.

My friend Kat is in inked magazine contest. She is a fellow goth girl down to her spooky companion Pom-chi Elvira! This is the last day for this voting period and you can vote every day. But today is really important. My friend Kat has dropped to 2nd in her group.

She is such a beautiful person inside and out. She’s an animal lover. ❤️ one of the sweetest and most genuine person I know. She works at a tanning salon that uses organic healthy products for the tanning. Not your your traditional spray tan. She is trained as an esthetician one day hopes to have her own salon for that, as well as develop a line of safe and healthy make up. So sorry ghoul-friends. My mom has been battling cancer again the past few months. It finally got her October 3, 2023. I didn’t even do Halloween this year! Frightening right? So I’ve been super busy, depressed, and frankly emotionally and physically drained. So I’ve not been up to posting new products, sales, or Instagram pics. But we are still open and have all your goodies if you need anything for yourself or a spooky loving friend for Christmas. 🦇👻🧙‍♀️🎄
