Come hang with Olivia Piervincenti next weekend!

Local author Olivia Piervincenti will be set up at That’s Novel on August 15 from 12-3 p.m. with copies of books 1 and 2 in her Experiments series. EXPOSED is set in 2175 and follows the government creating a criminal facility where criminals go for punishment... but not all is as it seems. MASQUERADE continues the mystery six years later. Both books will be available for purchase. No registration is needed - just show up to support her work!

We are thrilled to host best selling author LaDarrion Williams on September 20 as a part of his tour for Ashes At The Altar, the final book in his Blood At The Root trilogy!

Conversation with LaDarrion will be held by our very own Ebby • Bookstagram, a book influencer and co-host of the Books And BS Podcast. Cocktails and mocktails will be available by Black Moth Bars 〰 Camper Bar CLT•NC.

Tickets include a copy of the book and the opportunity to get it personalized and signed after the discussion. Attendees will be allowed to bring up to two other personal items to get signed as well, but personalizations will only be offered for Ashes At The Altar.

📖 Charlotte Silent Book Club meets this Thursday from 6-8 p.m.! Bring your book and something to sit on - no registration necessary! Don’t forget there are indoor and outdoor spaces to sit, so we are on rain or shine!

📖 Local author Gayle Sims will be set up this Saturday selling copies of her debut novel, BREAKING WAVES. The story explores themes of racial identity, mental and physical health struggles, divorce, and romantic relationships between three friends approaching their forties. Just stop by to grab yours!

📖 This Saturday evening we’re welcoming back Don't Tell Comedy into the shop! Tickets are still available for both the 7:30 and 9:30 shows. Head to their website to snag them! Please note the shop will close at 6:30 to begin set up for this event.

Our next Knitted Bookmarks For Beginners class with Mary Catherine Gerughty is on the books!

Join us on August 16 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. to learn the basics of knitting while making your very own bookmark. The class will teach the basic knit stitch and flipping your work. Videos will also be provided for the cast on and bind off steps. All materials will be provided!
