So we had a customer ask us about turning their black and white photo into a shirt! We normally print in plastisol with 2 passes. The result is GREAT Coverage and Color. But it's a little limiting on details. Watercolor ink is thinner and gives a softer feel. So for more detailed prints like this, we want to use a high mesh screen with thinner ink, so nothing closes up or disappears in the print process.

This one was done in a 200 mesh screen with one pass in watercolor. You pretty much can't even feel the print. Test print successful! I can't wait for the customer to see their finished shirts.

If that white looks a little thinner, it's because it's what we call Soft Touch or Single Pass. This is a fantastic screen print method if you want a lighter feel or vintage look. It looks especially good on these heather cardinal tees.
