A little photographic evidence of how long my relationship with that mixer (and this store) has been. (I couldn’t even attempt to guess how many cookies we’ve mixed together!)
It’s finally time we parted ways, tho it’s certainly hard to do. This marks my last week running the store - we will close our doors on Thursday and wait while a new owner takes over at some point in July.
With thanks for all the support over the last 8+ years - your visits, stories, laughter have made this job so very rewarding.

This lovely machine had the audacity to up and die on us sometime in the night… we lost everything we had prepped for lunch today, and won’t be able serve sandwiches. Consequently we will be closing shortly after breakfast around 10:30. Sorry for the inconvenience!

These April showers are making us wish we’d planned a vacation for this school break along with so many of you smart people… instead, we’re going to take a mini staycation. Closed thru Wednesday (possibly the whole week 😬).
(If anyone has kid-friendly suggestions for things to do anywhere in a two-hour radius, let us know!)
