Did you know Trammell Crow Company is the developer behind Iron District?

With decades of experience across large-scale, mixed-use projects, their approach focuses on thoughtful planning and long-term value.

As Iron District continues to take shape, that foundation plays a key role in bringing the vision to life.

A look at one of the partnerships helping shape the future of Iron District.

In collaboration with Blume Studios and Carolina Bloom Music Fest, Iron District will host a new indie and alternative music festival in Charlotte this August. The festival will bring together live music, local vendors, food, and immersive experiences, while also creating space for emerging artists and regional talent.

More than a two-day event, the partnership reflects a broader vision for Iron District, one where culture and the arts are intentionally woven into the district alongside office, retail, hospitality, and community experiences.

Located between Uptown and South End, the Iron District is helping bring these two areas closer together in a more seamless way. What was once a pass-through is being reimagined as a place people actually want to spend time.

With a focus on walkability and thoughtfully designed spaces, the district is meant to feel like a natural extension of both neighborhoods. It’s about creating a stronger sense of connection while adding something new to the mix.

As it continues to take shape, the Iron District will play an important role in how people experience this part of Charlotte.
