The time has come ya’ll.

Saturday September 30th will be the last day the shop is open.

While I’m so sad to see these doors close, I’m also very ready to take a step back and focus on the things I haven’t been giving my full attention to over the past few years.

Our hours will be a bit different for our last week open, but please come by! Stock up on your bulk refills, grab your sustainable swaps, and come say hello/see ya

We’ve had so many of you ask “what am I going to do about bulk refills once the shop is closed??”
Luckily, can ship all your fave products to you & they operate on a closed loop system which means, once you’re done refilling your bottles and jars, they’ll send you a prepaid shipping label to send the bulk refill bags back so they can be sanitized and reused!
if you’re near Durham, you can also pop into their storefront!

Hi friends, I first want to thank you all again for your ongoing support not only of Good Earth Essentials, but of me as well. This business started as just an idea and out of a desire to change what I could and what I believe is important. I had no idea where this little business would end up, and although I still have so many hopes and dreams for it, for right now, taking a break is the best option for myself, for my family, and for GEE.

I'm not exactly sure what's next, and although this is very bittersweet, I am very much looking forward to being able to be the human, partner, and mother myself and my family deserve.

I know this probably feels really disappointing for a lot of you, but there is still so much good we can do individually and collectively to be good to Mama 🌎

While I don't have an exact date for closing, I believe it will be within 4-6 weeks. Here are some things to note:

🌱 Our shop hours will be adjusting as it will be just Ashlee and I working till close. Our new hours will be Tuesday-Saturday 12-5
🌱 We will not be restocking any sold out items; if there is something you need soon or don't want to miss out on I recommend getting into the shop soon to get those items
🌱 Keep an eye out on social media for any and all updates, I will keep you all in the loop as much as I can with any changes and news
🌱 Dependent on inventory, GEE may be popping up at 1 or 2 events in mid-September, I will update on these as time goes by as well

📢 We are hiring!

I'll start off by saying, serious inquires only please! The shifts that we need to hire for are Tuesdays from 3-5(or 6 once fall comes) and every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday 11-5, 12-4) please ONLY reach out if these hours work for you!

We are looking to add a member to our team as one of our team members is heading back to school! We are looking to hire ASAP! There may be some flexibility in the schedule but weekend commitments are a MUST. Swaps/coverage are doable and we have a great little team that loves to work collaboratively, we'd love to add someone amazing to it!

Forever grateful to be a place that makes our customers feel seen in their passion for creating a better future for our environment and for us.

Before starting this little shop I searched for something just like this in Charlotte and came up empty handed and frustrated. I wanted to be able to find all the products I needed in a sustainable form without having to order online or sacrifice my values for other less eco-friendly products.

So I took that frustration and turned it into Good Earth Essentials. I’m so grateful that I went for it, and I’m so grateful for all your support 💛
