Charlton Sewing Center is having a sewing machine yard sale. We have at least 15 machines ready for sale tomorrow morning, October 3 at 9 o’clock. We can only accept cash because this money is going to a Food Pantry. Bring $60 cash with you and go home with a wonderfully newly service sewing machine.

$60 Diaper Deal‘s at the Charlton Sewing Center this Saturday from 9 to 3:30– outdoors on the Stafford Street side of the building (the shop will remain closed for continued sewing machine repair). Cash only so I can immediately go and buy diapers and food for the Food Pantry.

 The Charlton Sewing Center is closed for the next two weeks to get caught up on repair jobs. Today is day two and the theme was springs.  The bobbin case has a no backlash spring that was in crooked and upside down – thus,lousy tension. The spring that is getting pointed to with a stylus is from an extremely old Pfaff that was not doing zigzag. I remember seeing a black spring like that on another brand and voila! We have zigzag!

This my friend is what I dream about each night so to take care of these bad dreams the Charlton Sewing Center will be closed from September 28 and will reopen on October 12. As I finish machines, my Husband Steve will call you and make arrangements for pick up. my goal is at least four repairs every day for 14 days. Wish me luck
