The Calico Bass Quilting Studio carries over 900 bolts of 44-45 inch 100% cotton fabric as well as over 90 bolts of 100% cotton wide backs. I also provide long arm quilting services, using a Gammill Classic Plus with IntelliQuilter technology. Bring your quilt top in and check out the over 1,500 computer patterns available for your project! A regular edge to edge pattern is .0175 cents per square inch. A "custom" pattern starts at .04 cents per square inch. Feel free to stop in for an estimate on your quilt top. I also carry batting and wide backing for your convenience. If you bring in your own backing it MUST be well ironed and at LEAST 4 inches wider all around than your quilt top!. If you purchase your backing here I will iron it for you at no additional charge. I am currently open by appointment only. Please call 906-334-2441 for an appointment! I do not accept credit cards. Personal checks or cash only. Most 44/45 inch wide fabrics are $9.99 per yard or less in my studio. DIRECTIONS
Two and a half miles East of Tapiola. From the Houghton-Tapiola Road, turn east on North Lake Ave. Go straight to Aldrich Rd (it will turn into a gravel road) down the hill to Otter Lake to 20091 Aldrich Rd.
