A Chatham tradition for generations of visitors, wash-a-shores, and locals, the Chatham Candy Manor, established in 1955, continues to be an essential destination for chocolate lovers as we have become internationally known purveyors of exceptional hand-made chocolates. We are located in downtown Chatham, Mass., a classic Cape Cod seaside village, in a Main Street building C1850 which was lovingly

restored by prior owner, David Veach in 1987. The Chatham Candy Manor maintains the integrity of the old-school chocolatier creating chocolates of distinction and character. With unfailing attention to detail, our team of chocolatiers practices their craft with pride in each unique, alluring piece of velvety smooth, high cocoa content chocolate with just the perfect snap… that moment that real chocolate lovers savor…..a chocolate sensation!

You may recognize some of these friendly faces, but we are beyond fortunate to have the entire team that makes up our crew. Now in Chatham, Portland and Kennebunk we have a crew that works hard to keep things delicious, organized and fun both front and center and behind the scenes. The sheer volume that goes into each season and holiday is so impressive and the quality and care matters to everyone deeply.

Almost everything we make and package is by hand. We train through experience, repetition and process to honor and maintain tradition. We know and care for so many of our customers by name. ♥️ Being a part of this day in and out is overwhelming, but deeply special, and we don’t take it for granted ever.

We love this place. We love the people that make it, and we’re so thankful for everyone that supports us in continuing to do this. There’s nothing quite like it.

Thank you to everyone for another wonderful summer. We’re here to savor every last bit and get started on our fall favorites.

A crazy week on the Cape, thank you for making us a part of your rainy day traditions! A wonderful way to end July. Your support allows us to be open year round, to have full time jobs with benefits, to engage actively in our communities and to keep making chocolate by hand in small batches.
