Parade Day is almost here. I have been notified of one very important change this year. We will not have our traditional big toy giveaway that our HVAC Christmas Fund handles for us each year. This is beyond our control and we are so sad it will not be a part of our festivities this year. Please know, we are making contact now and speaking with several different organizations to determine where our registration fees can be directed to stay in our community. Stayed tuned for our announcement.

🍂 We love a good Scarecrow Contest!!🍂

The Scarecrows are coming!! Create your homemade Scarecrow or hay bale design and display him/her by October 9th the downtown streets, in your yards, business, etc., anywhere across Murray County!

Judging will be completed by October 15th.
Creators will be responsible for maintaining and removing scarecrows. The winners of each category will be announced at the Black Bear Festival on October 19th, 2025.

**THE COMMUNICATION STATION GA IS PARTNERING WITH TO RAISE DONATIONS FOR THE GRACE AND JOY HOUSE ALL ENTRY FEES OR DONATIONS WILL GO TO THE GRACE & JOY HOUSE**
