Sometimes life has a way of shifting the plot, and despite our best intentions, things don’t always unfold as we imagined.

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the upcoming bookish retreat to the Inn at Serenbe in April of 2025.

I need more time to recover physically after my surgery ( ), while also taking time to heal emotionally post-Helene (I am an Asheville local). (....Alex, aka , here).

But don’t worry, this isn’t the final chapter of our bookish adventures together! 🌟 A Novel Retreat is still on the horizon, just not in the way I planned.

A Novel Retreat be back, and I will make it even better when the time is right. ❤️ Please continue to follow along as our tale unfolds. I still strongly believe in A Novel Retreat, but 2024 certainly gave me quite the plot twist.

Thank you all for your support and understanding. As any good bookish soul knows, sometimes you have to pause and reflect before continuing on to the next page.
