They’re here. 👊🏼

Meet the Cirrus and Cumulus — two of the tents coming to CVT from Cloud Nine Camping.

We built Cloud Nine with one goal: bring great rooftop tents back to a price that made sense. Now that same philosophy is becoming part of CVT.

⚡ CIRRUS
Ultra-slim. Lightweight. Low-profile.
Built for the camper who wants a clean setup without sacrificing comfort.

☁️ CUMULUS
More room. More comfort. Queen and King sizes.
Built for the camper who wants their rooftop tent to feel a little more like home.

Same people.
Same warranty.
One family.

And this is just the beginning.

Welcome to the new CVT.

Good afternoon 😃

A little more of the story behind what’s happening at CVT.

Before I came back, I started Cloud Nine with a simple goal — bring quality rooftop tents back to a price that made sense and take care of customers the right way.

Now that I’m back at CVT, Cloud Nine is coming with me.

We’re bringing the two together, and I’m excited about what that means for the future.

For our Cloud Nine customers, nothing changes when it comes to support.

Same support. Same warranty. Same people. One family.

And for the CVT family, you’ll start seeing some of what we built at Cloud Nine become part of what’s next here.

This is just the beginning.

A little look at what’s coming to CVT. 👀

We spent yesterday shooting the Cirrus and Cumulus — setup, pack-down, walkarounds and all the details.

Two totally different styles. Both coming to CVT.

Which one are you picking — Cirrus or Cumulus?

CVT FAMILY SPOTLIGHT — SHANNON ❤️

Some customers buy a tent.

Some customers become part of the story.

Shannon has been one of those people for CVT. She’s been incredibly loyal to the brand, has taken her setup on some amazing adventures, and has continued representing what the CVT family has always been about — getting outside, making memories, and actually using the gear.

Seeing photos like these is exactly why I wanted CVT back.

It’s never just been about selling rooftop tents. It’s about the people who put them on their rigs, travel with them, beat them up, make memories in them, and keep coming back year after year.

Shannon, thank you for sticking with CVT and being part of this family. It means more than you probably realize.

And that FJ + CVT setup is pretty damn hard to beat. 🔥

What fun things do you do in your tent? (PG please). 😂

Cards? Games? Movies? Reading? Morning coffee? Hiding from the kids? 😂

We want to hear it — what happens in your CVT once camp is set up?

A familiar tent is coming back. 👀

Zak sent us these great shots of his Mt. Washington out doing exactly what it was built to do.

And yes — it’s coming back.

This time, it’ll return under a name many of you already know from Cloud Nine:

CUMULUS

Same purpose. Same adventure.
Now part of what’s ahead for CVT.

More coming soon.

Nothing beats seeing CVT gear out where it belongs.

Kevin Day sent us these shots from a weekend getaway in the Uinta Mountains, and this is exactly why we love seeing your setups, your camps and the places you take them.

Great truck. Great campsite. Even better backdrop.

Thanks for sharing these with us, Kevin. 👊🏼

CVT Family — keep sending us your photos. We want to see where you’ve been camping.

CVT FAMILY — WE NEED YOUR HELP. 👊🏼

We’ve been working on some new CVT sticker ideas, and now we want you to help us decide which ones make the cut.

Take a look at the designs and drop your TOP 3 — or TOP 5 — favorites in the comments using the letters.

Example: B, D, F, H, K

We’ll tally them up and turn the favorites into actual stickers.

Which ones are you picking?

CVT FAMILY — TROVE1 ADVENTURES

This is what it’s all about.

The Trove1 family started using CVT tents years ago when their growing family needed more sleeping space and a better way to get everyone out camping.

One tent became two. The kids kept growing. The adventures kept getting bigger.

They’ve traveled, camped through storms, built their Suburbans around their family, and found a way to make room for all 9 of them.

That little face peeking out of the tent might be my favorite picture. 😂

These are the stories I want to share more of — real CVT families, real adventures, and tents that have been part of their lives for years.

Thank you, Trove1 Adventures for taking CVT along for the ride.

Camp is where you park it.

10 years of CVT. 5 different tents. A whole lot of memories.

Huge thanks to for sending these over. This is exactly what CVT has always been about — getting outside, making memories, and building a life around adventure.

Over the years:

2016 – Green Shasta Extended on a Space Trailer
2021 – Royal Blue Shasta Extended
2021 – Red Fury
2022 – Black Mt Hood
2024 – Washington on a TCC Trailbox Trailer

And today, still out there with the Mt Hood.

That kind of loyalty means everything.

Built on history. Ready for what’s next.
