Let’s talk about tinned fish. Need an easy dinner to throw together quickly for a summer week night? Here’s
Sarah’s favorite ways to use our tinned fish-
1. Put the smoked salmon with sichuan chili crisp tin open and on top of a baking sheet in a 350 degree oven for 7-9 minutes, pull out and serve with steamed rice and roasted broccoli and top with our chili crisp.
2. Boil a bag of our slow dried Italian pasta, reserve a cup of pasta water and strain. Put the pasta back in the pot and toss in 2 TBSP of our French butter, grate in fresh parmesan and add the juice from one lemon. Add a little of that reserved pasta water a time until the sauce comes together, add a dash of cream and top with the smoked mackerel, smoked trout, or salmon. Serve with simple arugula salad.
3. Albacore tuna with soy and ginger over jasmine rice with shelled edamame, cucumber and carrots, drizzle with sesame oil, soy and rice w**e vinegar, top with sesame seeds and green onions & a drizzle of our chili crisp.
4. Put the smoked salmon, trout or mackerel on top of a Ceasar salad and grate extra Parmesan cheese on top and a drizzle of olive oil
5. Mix any of the tunas with a scoop of mayo, spicy mustard, splash of lemon, chives, shallot, celery and eat with crackers or as a sandwich
