Once you left the house, you were unreachable. Early 1990s: I would go to Destin for the day to shop, and stop by the pay phone outside of the gas station to call Mama (on the land line) before heading home. My missed calls were handwritten messages on the kitchen counter. Life was simple.

🌻Update on the Sunflower Festival at Black Barn Blossoms in Vernon:

Unfortunately, I am traveling for a family reason and will have to postpone this JOY until next year. You all should go; it’s going to be amazing! Saturday 12-4! And I’ll somehow figure out how to offer all of this amazing vintage to you sometime in the very near future.
