Expansion Update: Week 15 💖 We’re open!!!! Earlier this week we took the paper off the windows and opened to doors to let you all in!

I can’t believe that just a week or two ago this place was a chaos of boxes and wires and bins and a million little projects. I mean, we still have half a million little projects, but you can’t see most of them now!

It feels so good to reach this milestone in this journey, even though we’re not technically to the finish line yet.

But we’re open and we’re loving being in our new store, and we love seeing you enjoy this new space, too!!

We’re going to continue forward and keep you updated along the way. But this time, you can come visit while we get it done.

And just like that, on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, we opened our doors and let the world in. 💚

The first sale felt wildly appropriate: an Agate heart, to a regular.

Agate, a member of the Quartz family, is known for its mesmerizing banded patterns. Its name traces its origins to the river Achetes in Sicily, where this stone first came to light in ancient times. Throughout history, Agate has served a multitude of purposes, from cookware to talismans, revered for their ability to shield against negative energies. Beyond its beauty, Agate is also believed to possess gentle stabilizing and strengthening properties.

It brings calming, healing, and balancing energies, which is all we hope for by this beautiful new home for Almanac.

We’re open, friends. And we’d love to show you what we’ve been up to.

We’ll share more info about our grand re-opening events soon, but for now, we’re open everyday for regular hours.

Expansion Update: Week 14 💖 Tile mosaic is done!!!! Checking this big task off our list feels gooooood, and it looks even better!

Over these weeks I have lost myself in this project numerous times. Headphones on, music up, locked in… for hours on end. I haven’t dove into such a consuming project in a long time, and I didn’t realize how much I needed or wanted it until I was in it.

And I’m so pleased with the outcome. She’s stunning!!

With that, and some other updates around the space… we’re opening this week! Make your plans to stop in and see the new digs next weekend, yea?

Expansion Update: Week 13 💖 So many things happened this week!!! And with this update, the end is officially in sight.

The installation of our cabinets and shelves have been the milestone we’ve been waiting on to take our final steps toward soft opening. So even though we don’t know exactly when, we know it’s very soon!!

Stay tuned. It’s gonna happen fast now.

Expansion Update: Week 12 💖 In just 3 days this week, we completed the conversion of our shop into The Woodland Witch • Chattanooga, the new, magical sister shop to Almanac Supply Co.

The Woodland Witch has been trying to be birthed since around 2022, and after a lot of false starts along with plenty of winks that told us not to give up, she’s finally here.

And we did it so fast because she was absolutely ready. And now she’s open and ready for you, too!

If your favorite thing about Almanac was our decks, witchy books, and metaphysical tools, then The Woodland Witch is all of that and more.

And giving all of that its own dedicated home leaves us to make Almanac into more of what it truly wanted to be, too. But you’ll have to wait just a few more weeks to see what I mean.

The Woodland Witch is officially open! And Almanac will reopen within a few short weeks. And while we wait for that to happen, we’re planning our official grand opening of both locations, right next door to each other, for August 28-30. Mark your calendars! We’re planning a fun-filled weekend.

Then definitely a nap.

Expansion Update: Week 11 💖 We hit one of our biggest milestones!!

All of our lights are installed!! This has been one the moments we’ve most looked forward to, and it’s finally here.

Now, as we wait on the final pieces of the puzzle to go in here, The Woodland Witch • Chattanooga is next up on our list.

After this Tuesday’s Witch’s Day Sip & Shop with Verre Noir by Joli Jardin, we’re shutting down the current Almanac store and prepping the space for our new metaphysical store.

It’s all the witchiest parts you love about Almanac, now in their own home. 💚

And if all continues as planned, Almanac will reopen in our new space in just a few short weeks!!

One last weekend 🖤 The time has come to begin our moves! Come see us in our cozy little store one last time??

After this Tuesday (which is our Witch’s Day Sip & Shop with Verre Noir by Joli Jardin!!), Almanac is closing at 22 Frazier Ave in preparation for our big move next door to 24 Frazier Ave.

We hope to very quickly turn our current space into its new inhabitant, The Woodland Witch • Chattanooga.

Expansion Update: Week 10 💖 The end is almost in sight!!

And I think you’ll see that between the total crash out (that I seriously did cut 20 seconds out of), the multiple day delay in posting this, and the “project overalls” AGAIN, I’m feeling ready to start tying this project up in a bow… to take a little nap and maybe put on some real clothes. 😂

But seriously, the lights are a dreammmmm. And the tile is going to be my favorite thing I ever made, I think. I can’t wait to see all the photos you take with your cute shoes, iced coffees, and new rock friends.

Expansion Update: Week 9 💖 It gets worse before it gets better, right?!

I feel like there was an explosion in our new space this week (hypothetically, but literal sparks that I don’t want to talk about yet), as we have really begun bringing everything out to put it back together.

Tile was installed, as well as some lights, more lights were assembled, as were cabinets and even our first bookshelf (not shown).

Not to mention so much inventory is arriving. Some is making its way into the current store now, so feel free to pop in to check out new arrivals! Plenty more is waiting here for shelves to come.

And the tile mosaic. She’s gonna be beautiful, if she doesn’t defeat us along the way.

All in all, we’re heading towards the finish line. We feel it and we’re stoked to begin seeing this project unfold.

July at Almanac ☀️ We’re embracing the true essence of Summer this year, with our very passion-filled season of tending and growth here at Almanac. Though we’ve been sharing our journey of readying our store’s expansion for you, our sweet little shop on Frazier Ave. is still open, and we’re excited to host a few opportunities to enjoy the season with you.

🎆 7/2 - Pops Rocks Market
We’re joining the city in celebrating Independence Day with a maker’s market along Frazier Ave. before Chattanooga’s Pops on the River Fireworks in Coolidge Park. Find your precious parking, come stroll our street, and then head back into the park for the show of the year. (We’ll be open late, until 9pm.)

Start the next lunar cycle with your best crystal ally in tow. Our team is thrilled to spend the day connecting you with the stone that will support you in the season you’re in.

🧙🏼 7/21 - Witch's Day Sip + Shop
Join us on International Witch’s Day for a sip and shop event along Frazier Ave. Stop in Verre Noir for a sip while you shop plants, herbs, and dark art, and come see us for more sips, crystals, candles, and seasonal goods.

Now, to be completely honest: we do see a world where one or both of our new shops are open by the end of July, but because we won’t know until the next few big tasks get done, we’ve purposefully left it all out of the calendar. BUT STAY TUNED, because we’ll let you know if anything changes or if more fun gets added along the way.
