Today is 5/7, so that makes it 5.7 day! What's your preferred 5.7 handgun? I started with the OG: FN Five-seveN. I loved the flat-shooting, low-recoil round, but when I actually tried running the pistol in tactical drills I was disappointed. An unusual manual of arms (non-standard control placement) made it hard to run fast, and the ergonomics and control stiction were especially disruptive to failure drills.

I ended up settling on the R***r 5.7 for my collection, and I've been quite pleased with the "it just runs" boring normalcy of the pistol. Now, Smith & Wesson has entered the 5.7 chat with their M&P.
