Vintage 1960s Hollywood Regency Black & Gold Lamps w/ Canterbury Shades - Pair
An absolute showstopping pair of Mid-Century Neoclassical (Hollywood Regency) table lamps, circa 1960s. This matching set is in fantastic ready-to-style vintage condition and features incredibly high-end components from top to bottom.
Perfect for flanking a sofa, buffet, or bedroom nightstands!
The Bases: Matte black porcelain urns featuring classic gold-painted Greek Key (Meander) borders. One side showcases a detailed Roman chariot (quadriga) scene, and the reverse features a classical cameo profile portrait.
The Foundations: Mounted on heavy, solid white square marble bases.
The Hardware: Original, heavy-duty brass fixtures with verified vintage USA-made Leviton sockets. Tested and working perfectly!
The Shades: Includes the original, matching, and pagoda shades. Both are clearly labeled "Hand Tailored by Canterbury, Brooklyn, New York"—a highly collectible, luxury designer brand famous for bench-made, hand-sewn shades. (These shades alone regularly retail for $100+ each to designers!).
