Also, just super excited to help support the amazing things they are doing down here in our old home neighbourhood. No matter where we are, we will always have a piece of our heart in Fishtown

First we have this amazing new reissue on Numero Group (because ofcourse) this Garden Variety is a mind blower! As Numero says “The 1993 split point between pop punk and emo is no better illustrated than by Garden Variety’s self-titled debut.” And they ain’t lying, this hits in the perfect 90’s feels!

We also have the latest C**k Sparrer record (though there is word of something new in the works) 2024’s Hand on Heart was a solid knock out from these street punk oi forefathers.

Then we got some rad new/old stuff from Serge Gainsbourg, Miles David, Coltrane, and Sarah Vaughn…you need vibes, we got em here! Come and get it…so much more to come as we open all these dang boxes!!!

We’re getting this Numero Group order cracked open today. So many amazing records from their catalog (everything Secretly Distribution had in stock) we should have some of it out today, and more and more coming to the shelves through this weekend!

Earlier today after signing up for the Numero Group Philly pop-up tour, we mentioned that we just got an order of like everything Secretly Distribution had in stock from the Numero catalog… just to be clear, we weren’t kidding. We’re still getting everything into the system, and copies of a lot of this, they’re gonna stay in our store stash for DJing. especially during our soon to come numero nu-sdays. But yeah, if you want to get your hands on some amazing records, or if you miss the pop-up Sept. 9th. Don’t worry…we got you covered!

Standing awe struck in front of an infinity net on the wall of the Portland Art museum was a life changing experience. Kusama is/was/and will always be an incredible influence on what we create. This week has broken my heart too dang much

We got a newly stocked drinks fridge. We don’t just curate our records, whether it’s our coffee beans (and roast formulas), the local pastries (Wild Flour Bakery does our super good carrot cakes and more!, Metropolitan Bakery gets us the GD best chocolate chip cherry cookies, various scones, and fig bars.) but even our drinks are thought out, less plastic, real sugar, we got Liquid Death we got Mexican Coke, Sprite, and Fanta, we got Bundaberg Brewed Drinks ginger beer, we got the Motts juice boxes (and glass bottles for the refined youth), we got your Sanpellegrino US heck we even have the Champaign of apple juice Martinelli's with the glass juice bomb! Plus some Go Brewing na beer for your weekend hangs, and not seen here are we’re getting a restock but we still have varying Hank's Beverages

So remember, if you need a fresh coffee or some Morning Static Coffee Roasters beans, if you need from cool records to spin into the evening with your friends, if you want some tasty treats, or you want to kick back with a martinellis…some in down 7908 High School rd! I think Ben Folds Five said it best, “we can be happy, we can be happy, underground”

We have some new record out on the shelves, we got our label printer all fired up and we are back adding to the catalog people!

First we have the amazing reissue of The Ecstatic by the mighty Yasiin Bey this is banger from beginning to end and hits as hard today as it did back in 2009

Then we have that 🔥 new record from Phoebe Bridgers that everyone from my wife to my lil cousin to our County Commissioner Neil Makhija can’t stop talking about. Who knows how big this record is gonna be? Bo Burnham Knows!

How about the latest instalment of Jazz Is Dead another just have in this amazing collection from Adrian Younge

We have two Descendents records, three ways!!! Liveage! On Transparent Orange, All! (No ALL!) on Cool Blue (it was advertised as Boo Berry and I’m sad about this deception), and All! As a beautiful Punk Note version!

We have the new open mike eagle. with Kenny Segal the hardest smartest over 40 on a mic, that would be down to talk hip hop history or your NES favorites with such a great depth of vibe on this record. It gets dark but always keeps you finding smiles!

Or how about the return of Philly’s own amazing sam you will likely hear this record if I’m around because I’ve been a fan for a while and so glad to have him back!

There is also Kiwi jr with Blowin’ Up providing some of the best jangle guitar vibes to keep this summer going till the last drop of sun goes down…get this record, get a TINYL Japan and go catch the last days down the shore!!

How about a perfect 12” from Fiddlehead if you haven’t heard Baby I’ll Change you clearly are not a grown up hardcore kid on the internet, this entire ep is such a solid and beautiful example of the sheer talent and songwriting chops that grow out of the East Coast Hardcore scene…three perfect songs to wet you’re appetite for a new record!
