On this date (8/4) in 1967, Pink Floyd released their debut album "Piper at the Gates of Dawn". It still is considered a benchmark in psychedelia. It was recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studio at the same time as "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and The Pretty Thing's "S.F. Sorrow". For such a significant day, we had best put up something Floydian. We didn't have anything Piper related, but it still needed to be from Pink Floyd.
