It became one of the most iconic, and studied covers ever made. To celebrate the day, we are showing off a metal road sign for Abbey Road. On this date, (8/7) in 1958. Bruce Dickenson, vocals for Iron Maiden came into this world. He is quite the Renaissance man. He pilots the band around in a plane that is privately owned by the band. He is also a very capable at swordplay and is a great lover of classic literature. For Bruce, we are pleased to offer this magnet. On this date (8/6) in 1982, Pink Floyd "The Wall" movie, starring Bob Geldof as Pink, opened in New York City. It quickly became a classic midnight movie. It still shows in many theaters, particularly at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. We wish to honor this release by offering a poster with the artwork of Gerald Scarfe, the fellow that did the art and animations for the album and the film. On this date (8/4) in 1967, Pink Floyd released their debut album "Piper at the Gates of Dawn". It still is considered a benchmark in psychedelia. It was recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studio at the same time as "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and The Pretty Thing's "S.F. Sorrow". For such a significant day, we had best put up something Floydian. We didn't have anything Piper related, but it still needed to be from Pink Floyd.
