Thanks for another great season on the Garmin Marine Lake Michigan Tournament Trail! As you may know my pics are heavy on teams but light on fish! A huge Coho Salmon just hit the deck making the mixed bag a little more interesting. This size class of fish added to the fall mixed bag sure looks promising for the groups scheduled for September. This giant Coho was extremely chunky and one of the largest we have seen in many years. It's girth was the most impressive thing about this male. It was an absolute football and he rocketed out of the water mid fight. We still have a few openings left in September if you want your chance at some true trophy class fish. Give us a shout. We offer world class mixed bag Trout, Salmon, and Walleye trips in Northern Lake Huron. April through October the fishing is outstanding. There isn't a bad time to fish here in Northeast Michigan.

The mixed bag is getting more and more consistent everyday on the Big Pond. Steelhead and Walleye have been in the catches along with occasional Kings and Atlantic Salmon. Here are just a few of the wonderful groups that came out to fish with us recently that I have been getting behind on posting. Keeping both boats up and running is very taxing to the body and the social media posting have suffered. I am trying to make a point to get caught up and will try to post more catches. The calls are starting to slow down but the fishing has been heating up. Late summer and early fall is my favorite fishing time. There will be some trophy fish hitting the deck soon but the question is will you be the one on the rod reeling? Get your date locked in and I will do my best to put you on them.
