Our latest fret slotting jig from . Since we needed a new scale length for this guitar, we upgraded from our old LMI jig. We went with StewMac’s jig and it’s really nice. Honestly I should have gotten it right out of the gate. It’s far superior to the old LMI jig. If your considering one, don’t hesitate. On top of the jig being very well designed, the customer service at StewMac is second to none. This jig was not packaged well and our postal service beat the absolute crap out of this box, thus causing some parts to scratch. StewMac handled it very quickly. Since starting Lindsay Guitars we’ve made it a point to keep all political opinions that we personally share away from our shop’s social media platforms.

The current situation in our country has forced us to change this. If you read this and are offended, or more importantly you are a supporter of this administration’s actions, we do not want your business.

We are sick and tired of seeing the rampant authoritarianism and violence this administration has brought to this country. Look real hard at what is going on. This is not right and it is not okay.

The systematic destruction of our democracy, the rewriting of our history, the abuse of power, the destruction of our standing in the world, and the pain, hardship and suffering inflicted on people by this administration is sickening.

You either care about people or you don’t. You don’t get to put a caveat on this. Doesn’t matter what the person’s skin color is, their national origin,their gender identity, religion, or anything that makes them different from you. You don’t get to choose. You either care about ALL people or you don’t.

If you read and disagree, you clearly don’t care about people the way we do. So please kindly see yourself out.

And know this before you go. You will be remembered for your support of this administration. History will judge you just as it has done all those in the past that have supported this kind of behavior, and you will be remembered for being on the wrong side.

It’s been a long time but we are getting closer to the finish line on the kitchen project. Here are few old pictures of what it looked like before the water leak took out the whole kitchen and back room. Notice the highly figured maple kitchen drawer divider that I made-and oops, shouldn’t have used that board I was saving for lutherie.
