When Maria retired, she left me these two cups: “Blessed” and Frida Kahlo’s “I Paint My Own Reality.”
At 52, those words mean more to me than ever.
She also left me a note inside the cabinet that simply read, “Failure is not an option.”
Today marks three months since we opened our doors, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Every day, you choose to support our little coffee shop, and because of you, we’re living our dream.
Thank you for making this possible. We truly are blessed. 💙☕️

☕️💙We’re bringing blueberry back for opening day! Can’t wait to see all of our old friends as well as the new ones we have yet to meet! A lot of great things have happened since last season🙌🏽 like opening a coffee shop in Chester, Olivia graduating college…Stop by South Side when visiting the say hello, catch up, & enjoy a coffee as you stroll the market. This season we will be featuring Portuguese baked goods 😋

🙏🏾Everyone has a cardinal in their life; today we celebrate and remember ours. Christiansen Angel Linderman, my Dad. He was taken too soon, but we know he is always with us and is represented in all we do at South Side Coffee. I know he would be proud on his anniversary as we also celebrate the completion of one month since opening our doors on Main St. in Chester ❤️ Love you always Dad!
