These vintage Zolotas clip-on earrings, crafted in 18-karat yellow gold and sterling silver, are a striking expression of the house’s signature Greek Revival style.

Sculptural and architectural, each oversized half hoop is formed from gleaming, deeply grooved silver ribs. Multiple strands of polished 18-karat gold wrap around the center, accented by a sharp chevron crest and tiered golden finials. The bold, column-inspired design recalls the strength, symmetry, and ornamentation of classical Greek architecture.

Founded in Athens in 1895 by 21-year-old Efthimios Zolotas, the legendary jewelry house began at the foot of the Acropolis after its founder trained in prestigious Parisian ateliers. Zolotas soon earned royal recognition and became celebrated for transforming the artistic language of ancient Greece into sophisticated modern jewelry.

During the 1960s, under Xenofon Zolotas, the house collaborated with Greek archaeological museums to study and reinterpret motifs discovered on ancient artifacts. Its international presence expanded in the following decade through creative collaborations with artists and designers including Claude Lalanne and Paloma Picasso.

Zolotas creations became symbols of cultivated glamour, admired by figures such as Maria Callas, Aristotle Onassis, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The house remains renowned for its use of rich gold, sterling silver, hand-hammering, granulation, filigree, and mythological or architectural motifs inspired by lions, rams, serpents, spirals, and classical Greek ornament.

These dramatic clip-ons capture that heritage perfectly: ancient inspiration, Parisian refinement, and unmistakable statement-making glamour—without the need for pierced ears.

Golden light settles over still water in Sunset River Landscape by Hippolyte-Camille Delpy (French, 1842–1910).

A pupil of celebrated French landscape painter Charles-François Daubigny, Delpy became known for his tranquil river scenes, luminous skies, and atmospheric reflections.

The scene depicts a figure in a small boat, with another boater visible farther along the glowing river. Delpy’s expressive brushwork, warm autumnal palette, and delicate treatment of light give the composition a peaceful, timeless presence.

Delpy is a museum-collected artist whose paintings are held by institutions including the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Reims, and the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. Their collections include The House of M. Lucas, La Tuilerie de Mantes, inondations, and Boating at Dusk.

Painted in oil on mahogany, signed “H. Delpy” at the lower left, and presented in an elaborate gilt frame, this is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a work by an internationally recognized, museum-collected French artist. Designed by the legendary Jean Schlumberger, the Tiffany & Co. Ibex Brooch is a masterclass in transforming nature into wearable sculpture. Handcrafted in 18-karat yellow gold and platinum, its pavé-set diamond head and vivid ruby eye reflect Schlumberger’s lifelong fascination with texture, movement, and the natural world.

Born into an Alsatian textile family, Schlumberger brought an innate understanding of rhythm, braiding, and surface to his jewelry—seen here in the beautifully fluted, rope-like horns that frame the ibex.
