We’re starting the week celebrating someone pretty special… it’s Samantha’s birthday! 🥳🎂

If you know Mad Al’s, you know Samantha is the heart behind it all. She’s the one keeping this little fudge dream moving forward, bringing ideas to life, and putting so much love into everything we do.

As for me? I’m just the trusty sidekick along for the ride! 😂

Between being a mom, a wife, and the driving force behind Mad Al’s, she deserves a little extra love today.

🎉🍫 WE HAVE SOME HUGE NEWS, MAD AL’S FAMILY! 🍫🎉

WE’VE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO Vince & Joe's Gourmet Market MADE IN MICHIGAN PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT! ❤️🙌

Remember our post on Monday teasing some exciting things in the works? Well, this is one we’ve been dying to share!

Back in September, we came across Vince & Joe’s Keep Michigan Moving campaign and submitted an application for the opportunity to have our fudge featured in their store. Last week, we got the call inviting us in to interview and let their team sample our fudge. Now, we’re beyond excited to share that we got the YES!

We don’t have all the details just yet, but this news was simply too big to keep to ourselves!

Vince & Joe’s is known for its high-quality products, and we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have our family’s fudge become part of their store. For a small, family-run Michigan business like ours, this is a milestone we’re genuinely proud of. ❤️

One thing we’ve continued to see is that once someone takes that first bite of Mad Al’s fudge, they understand what makes it special. There’s a little magic in every bite, and we’re so excited about the opportunity to share that magic with even more people! 🍫✨

To everyone who has supported us, shared our posts, tried our fudge, and cheered us on along the way, THANK YOU. Every bit of support has helped us get to moments like this, and we’re so glad to have you along for the ride.

We’ll share more details as everything comes together, but for now, we just couldn’t keep this exciting milestone to ourselves!

We’ve been a little quiet around here this past week, but behind the scenes, some exciting things have been happening! 👀🍫

We’ve had a few opportunities come our way that could help Mad Al’s reach more people and give more people the chance to try our fudge. Nothing is finalized just yet, so we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but we’re definitely feeling hopeful and excited about what could be next!

When we started this little family business, we knew we wanted to make something special. Seeing doors potentially open that could help us share it with even more people is an incredible feeling.

Fingers crossed for some big things ahead! 🤞❤️

Sometimes you need a little rain to get the rainbow. 🌧️🌈

This morning started out gray and rainy, but before long the clouds gave way to rainbows and one of those sunrises that makes you stop for a second and take it all in.

Kind of a nice reminder that a rough start doesn’t always tell you how the rest of the day is going to go.

And I’d say this Sunday is off to a pretty beautiful start. ❤️

We’re all set up at the New Baltimore Farmers Market today from 9–2. Come enjoy the morning with us and grab something sweet while you’re here. 🍫

POV: Your wife owns a fudge shop, so you suddenly have a second full-time job…

No pay.
No benefits.
No PTO.
No choice. 😂

Just cutting fudge, boxing orders, and hearing, “Babe, can you help me with one more thing?” 🤣🍫

Employee of the month every month… because he’s the only employee. 😂

Yesterday it was a fresh slab of plain chocolate. Today, it’s one step closer to the box. 🍫

Funny how something as simple as cutting fudge can remind you of life.

You don’t have to have everything figured out all at once. You just keep showing up, keep working at it, and keep moving forward.

One cut at a time, until you have a finished product you’re proud of.

Sometimes that’s all progress really is. ❤️

🍒 Back by popular demand — Chocolate Covered Cherry! After seeing how much you guys loved it last week, we knew we had to bring it back for another round.
