Hello to all of our amazing friends!
As you have probably noticed, we have gotten a "little bit busier" over the last few months. We are so honored that you have chosen to support us, and we love having you all as part of our gaming community! However, with great power comes great responsibility, so we have been working to upgrade our processes to help YOU the customer have a better experience!
You might have seen our new dashboard posted in the store. When you place a card order for singles, it will arrive on the left column, regardless if you did it on one of our in-store kiosks, or from the comfort of your own home. (We honestly picture some of you looking like the Wolverine meme, sitting in bed scrolling our card inventory nightly. You know who you are.....).
Once we start pulling that order, it will move to the center column, and when the order is ready for pick up it will move to the right column. As always, you will get an email when your order is ready, so please feel free to keep an eye out! This also will allow you to know if you are placing an order in store where the process is.
However, the more fun part has been the amazing amount of trade we have received in the past few months. As always, we are very transparent about our trade policies, our rates, and our offers. We abhor the "haggling" aspect of the card industry. We have placed all of our rates and rules on our websites for you to easily review at any time. We have even included automatic bonuses for items over $200 and $500 so that we do not have to do the back and forth dance!
Also, there is nothing worse than standing around waiting for someone with shoeboxes of cards that take 2+ hours of the staffs time, only to have them go "oh never mind". We hate that you have to wait behind that, so we are moving away from that!
Since you know what our offers are up front, we have a commitment for on a sign in tablet for your trade ins! Fill that out (each time you trade) and your trade will go in the queue! You can see when we start processing your trade, and when your payment is ready for you! We are often so backed up with trade that your best bet is to drop off your trade, and we will call or text you when your payment is ready!
What does this all mean to you?
Well, if you are doing trades and buying cards as normal, nothing except everything should be faster!
We no longer do the "I wanna know what all this is worth" with the random box of games or cards without a commitment. If you like, we do now offer a full paid appraisal service, where we can print you out a full database of your items including values, conditions, etc. However worry not, this process is completely free for those that are doing a trade with us as always!
We have already seen the people who "want us to evaluate their cards so they can sell them to their friends" be moved away from holding up the line for your normal business, so we feel this is just going to make things smoother and faster for those that already shop at Game Masters.
