Did you know?

A proper burn = longer candle life, and safer burn.

Here are few tips to get your best burn every time!

1. *Always* trim your wick. The ideal height is 1/4”. You can use a wick trimmer, scissors, or even a nail clipper! > This avoids black smoke and mushrooming, and causes your candle to burn slower.

2. Burn your candle for no longer than 2 hours. After two hours, you increase the chances of black smoke. This also keeps your jar from getting too hot.

3. Keep your candle away from ceiling fans, drafts or air currents. Wind causes the flame to dance around when you want it to burn steadily in the center.

4. Extinguish the candle with its lid (rather than blowing it out) - this will trap the smoke inside the container (which doesn’t harm the candle).
