Growing my babies alongside my flowers has been the greatest gift 🌼 motherhood is unpredictable, it’s constant evolution, and continuously challenging my patience. The same is true of my natural dye practice. It’s forces me to slow down, to pay attention, to listen closely and observe. I love involving my kids in the process of growing, harvesting, pressing, and creating. I hope I’m lucky enough to continue wrapping them in flowers for as long as they will let me 💖

🇲🇽 Making And Moving: A Tulum Yoga + Botanical Dye Retreat

🗓️ March 10–14, 2027

Join Souljourn Yoga founder Jordan Ashley, PhD & botanical textile dyer Down To Earth Goods on a 4‑night, 5‑day journey to the Caribbean edge of the Yucatán, a retreat that blends yoga, botanical dye artistry, cultural exchange, & the art of being present.

Our home is NAJIL CHAK | TULUM ART RESIDENCE , a design‑forward private art residence reserved exclusively for our group, where jungle meets turquoise sea.

Days are shaped by sun & color: morning vinyasa on the mat, afternoons drawing pigment from plants, long unhurried meals in the garden, & evenings around the fire pit beneath the palms.

✨Retreat Highlights✨
🪷 Daily yoga & mindful movement
🏡 4 nights at Najil Chak, a 29,000 sq ft private art residence, exclusive to our group
🍽️ Meals freshly prepared by a private chef
🎨 Botanical dye workshops with raw plant materials & organic extracts
🫐 Indigo dye workshop with Najil Chak co‑founder Karen Gutiérrez
🌾 Farm-to-table lunch and tour of a Maya family homestead
💧Cenote swim beneath the limestone
🏖️ Tulum beach afternoon
🎈 Yoga & art experience with Los Amigos De La Esquina A.C.
🚙 Group airport transfers (CUN or TQO)
💟 $200 tax‑deductible donation to Los Amigos De La Esquina A.C.

💗Give Back
We are deeply committed to giving back through our partnership with Los Amigos De La Esquina A.C.

Each participant’s $200 donation goes directly to Los Amigos De La Esquina, a Tulum community center empowering Native Maya & Mexican kids through art, wellbeing, & life skills since 2017. LADLE offers around 20 free workshops every week, year‑round, & most of the kids they serve are between 12 and 18 with few other safe spaces to express themselves. During our visit we’ll move through a yoga class & create an art project together, side by side.

Like the dyes we’ll draw from plants, this experience settles in gradually & leaves an imprint that lasts.

🌟 Early bird registration now open — through Oct 1! ⚡️ Flexible payment plans available
🔆 Only 6 rooms

Botanical therapy 🌸✨🌈 Flower pounding is not my preferred technique for transferring colors from plants to fiber, but it sure is therapeutic!
