“I’m Emily Pisano! I am a multi-artistic girl from Hazlet, New Jersey. I am a hairstylist, artist, DIY-er, and soon to be interior designer. I recently started my journey with polymer clay in early 2020. The online trend of polymer clay earrings quickly caught my eye and I knew I could tackle the project! I want my earrings to evoke a sense of playfulness and joy and silliness. I want them to remind women of the dreams and passions they once had in their hearts as a little girl and encourage them that they are never to old to chase those dreams. “Lolita Vintage started out as an up-cycling hobby that transformed into a brand that specializes in sustainably made women’s garments. I started the business after shopping fast fashion in my twenties and having things literally falling apart a week into owning it. And while I could have opted for a more expensive brand, it might not have been feasible for me to do so that the time. Then came the logistics of how harmful those brands are to the environment, and although easy and accessible, we should avoid supporting those companies. I put a lot of time and effort into each garment (right now I’m my only employee), and am super grateful for how much the brand has grown.”

"The idea of Botanica Naturale was born in 2018 after years of working in the cosmetic distribution and manufacturing industry. I worked closely with women like my self who started out by making beauty products in their homes. Working endlessly and tirelessly on their craft and growing into some of the major brands we see today. It truly inspired me to start my own brand. I researched ingredients and formulated my first product, a balm, to help with my children’s eczema, quickly realizing this is my passion."
