Thank you to everyone that came out last weekend to support this great event put on by and ! Thank you again to all the sponsors that donated items to the raffle and everyone that purchased pozole and drinks at the bar! Y’all helped raise over $1700 that went directly to the work we’re doing out here to support our neighbors experiencing street homelessness. We’ll see ya at the next one!

As we near the end of 2022, we visited with the Co-Chairs of , Catarina Colón and Arianne Rodriguez, Ph.D...

𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚:I love supporting Cuatro Uno Cuatro (414), which is a clothing store that works to advance the causes related to the Latine community in Milwaukee while selling awesome merchandise.

𝐀𝐫𝐢: I enjoy supporting Plants Delivered Chicago, an online plant shop that delivers plants to your home or business. Plant Delivered Chicago also does in-home or in-office plant consults and provided plant care advice. The best thing about Plants Delivered Chicago is that they also have started a non-profit Feeding People Through Plants, which uses their platform and plant sales to fundraise in support of our Chicago neighbors experiencing food insecurity and homelessness.

Raffle ends 10/10/2022 for our massive Thai constellation raffle! Tickets available in person this Saturday and Sunday morning at our shop from 11-5. We will also be announcing a popup on Lincoln park this Saturday morning where you can also get tickets! In the meantime, these are still available through our nonprofits website

My birthday is coming up and this year I want to spend that day raising money for the nonprofit I love and the work we’ve been doing through . We are hosting a huge plant sale, we will be dropping a lot of fun Carhartt merch (hoodies, tees, and joggers) and we will be raffling off another massive Thai constellation. Ticket sales for the Thai begin on the 24th and tickets will be $5 IRL (in real life) and $20 online. We will hold the raffle until we hit our fundraising goal of $2500 for this plant to create tons of meals for our neighbors in need experiencing severe food insecurity and homelessness. Share this, tell your friends, and come support us and say hey for my bday at my shop from 11-5! We are also soft opening our PDC Outpost and home store that will feature all things plant and all things vintage home decor as we partner with to help bring some cool pieces of decor to your home. Western, petroliana, mcm, taxidermy and skulls, plant based self care items. A carefully curated collection of the kind of things you see me sharing in my home and the old things that I love, but for you to style your own home! We will hold very exclusive hours after the event but this is your opportunity to get a sneak peek at what we are building! Can’t wait to see you all and thank you for always being so supportive of what we’re doing!

Thanks for having us as your guest speakers today ! Was awesome to be part of this wonderful community program to teach people a little bit about how easy houseplants can be and also put my Spanish to use for everyone that came out today. Always feels good to be able to communicate in my first language and connect with my fellow Latinx neighbors that make the Chicago area so strong. Thanks for having us and for being such gracious hosts! And for letting me practice my Spanish with y’all!

Some before/after shots of our most recent outdoor container job . Thank you again to the wonderful team at Time Out for your trust and partnership on so many levels. This is our first season of taking on a full docket of outdoor patio and container jobs and I couldn’t have a better partner in crime to make this all possible with her extensive skills in the outdoor game as a horticulturist and designer. Starting Friday April 1st, we will launch a month long pop-up booth through our non-profit ! 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit our neighbors experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in the city we love. We are bringing back small plants in a very big way so come out to see us in the first floor across from to grab a plant and help a neighbor in need. Open Wednesday-Sunday for the entire month of April! Come by, tell your friends, volunteer to work a shift at the shop!
