The government said, “Good luck paying for the rest of grad school.”
I said, “Guess we’re firing up the grill.” 🍔
I really wasn’t planning another pop-up this summer.
But recent changes to federal student aid mean my final year of my Master’s in Social Work just got a lot more expensive.
Every day, social workers step into the gaps where our systems fall short, supporting people through mental health crises, addiction, homelessness, food insecurity, aging, hospitals, schools, and domestic violence. It’s essential work, and I’m dedicating my life to it.
So if this is what it takes to finish school... let’s fire up the grill.
Every burger helps me continue pursuing a career rooted in service, food justice, health equity, and community.
To everyone who’s supported Herbivore over the years, thank you. Your support means more than you know. You’re helping me become the social worker I hope our communities deserve.❤️
