A mouse is not just a smaller rat, and treating them the same is where a lot of setups go wrong.
Mice and rats differ in size, behavior and the way they move through your space. That is why we built a separate trap for each one.
Mousinator: Designed specifically for mice.
Ratinator: Built for rats.
Not sure what you are dealing with? A few quick signs can help:
Droppings: Mouse droppings are small, about the size of a grain of rice. Rat droppings are noticeably larger.
Gnaw marks: Mice leave tiny, fine marks. Rats leave bigger, rougher ones.
Where you see activity: Mice often show up in pantries, cabinets and indoor corners. Rats are more common in barns, garages, sheds and outdoor areas.
Know your pest, then pick the right trap.
