We are busy rendering beeswax and making candles from Thanksgiving to the New Year! We’re quite fond of these cute little pumpkins.

For the past few weeks we have been busy fulfilling our largest honey order to date. We were thrilled to be contacted by the to assist them in providing local honey that will be given to seniors throughout the region as part of the state of Illinois’s Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program. This program assists those who cannot easily access local farmers markets and delivers products to assisted living centers and senior homes, this is an amazing program and is an incredible local resource that is doing amazing work to assist local families and individuals obtain healthy, good, and local food.
We were fortunate enough to provide 2200lbs of honey to those who may have not had an opportunity to taste the delicious honey that our bees produced in our Chicago area neighborhoods this year.
Please support and share the empowering work that the Greater Chicago Food Depository does around our region.
