LOFT SHOUT OUT: Thank goodness for our favorite local repair shop, Chicago Fret Works Guitar & Amp Repair. You can't imagine how much work they do for us to keep Jeff and the whole Wilco World moving along. Thank you Steve and Dan and your wonderful crew! We just brought them Jeff's almost century old National resonator guitar to install a pickup so it can be added to the last truck leaving for our Solid Sound festival that starts a week from today. They remembered this National fondly as it was the very first repair they made for us back in 2013. A very violin-inspired one from Japanese builder Takeshi Saito . The original wooden tuning pegs were hard to work with so we installed a new set of Wittner Finetune geared pegs. They work great and keep the look and feel intact.
