"I grew up in Rogers Park from 1958-1967. In this very NE area of Chicago, we all had a favorite street--Morse Ave--filled with everything a kid could want. There are no known existing pictures of my favorite area of the street (just west of the L train) in 1964, so I have recreated it on computer. The Jewel supermarket, 31 Flavors and the Little Record Shop. A 1957 Chevy in front. In the back right of the Jewel parking lot, an old man gets out of his 1958 Chevy waiting for the store to open. If you lived in the area--this one place and time in 1964 is very familiar to you."
