I've been working on a new Toolhead for the VCore 3.1 - definitely a learning curve between cutting a piece of aluminum and having a 3-4 stage job, but really excited for what this unlocks.

This one is a custom waterblock. If it indeed holds water, I'll be able to start testing the Toolhead this week 🤞🏼

Got around to posting a few models over the weekend.

This one is a self-adjusting headphone mount, which should accommodate most standard desks/tables - free on the standard sites.

Last night, someone vandalized several Mexican flags on our block, including ours. These flag brackets have held up through Chicago summers and winters, and now that I’m reprinting with some ASA-CF, hopefully it'll give vandals a harder time too. Even if it doesn't stop them, we'll keep printing and putting them back up.

Took the past week to get back into building and modding, which has been really great!

Decided to focus on the Doomcube - finally swapped to kalico, sorted out katapult, canbus for the Toolhead instead of USB. I also swapped to the xol-metrix Toolhead, so I can actually do MMU properly 🤝

For the BoxTurtle, I built the enclosure, installed new trays, n20 motors, and skirts to match.

There are some changes I want to do to the Toolhead itself, but for now it's in a lot better spot than it was.

I've been pushing the K3 more as the whistle requests keep increasing, and it still has a good amount of headroom! At 0.4mm layer height, 30K accel, and 30 SCV, it's able to pump out one of these whistles every minute and a half which is pretty sick.

Last whistle change for a bit, very happy with how this one turned out. i revisited the V2, stripped it down and optimized it, which gets us V2.1

- 200 can fit on a 300mm bed
- Takes between 2g-2.3g of filament
- Voron can print one in 3 mins, X1-C in 5.4 mins
- Voron can print 100 in 5h, X1-C in 6.2h

I designed some CNC AWD plates based off of Lever M3 tensioner design for the v-core 3.1, as well as some motor mounts that bolt to the vertical extrusions.
