Want to learn how to create beautiful containers of your own? We’ve got good news!

This Sunday we’re kicking off The Art of Container Design, a 3-part workshop series led by one of our expert designers, Rob Bondgren. Join us for one class or all three, they are thematically connected but prior attendance is not required.

• Session 1 — Design Like an Artist: The Foundations of Beautiful Containers | Sunday, July 26 from 11am - 1pm

• Session 2 — Beyond Thriller, Filler, & Spiller: Creating Containers with Personality | Sunday, August 2 from 11am - 1pm | *Session 2 guests are highly encouraged to bring their own containers! Unique and/or non-traditional containers recommended; we will provide a basic container if you don’t have one. Planting diameter should be 13” or smaller.

• Session 3 — Designing for Place: Beautiful Containers for Every Space | Sunday, August 9 from 11am - 1pm

All classes are $90 each with plants, planters, and supplies included. Each class will take place in Annuals.

Yup, you read that right. This weekend, Gethsemane is popping up on the Homeslice patio from 12-3 both Saturday and Sunday!

After you check out all the beautiful gardens on the Sheffield Garden Walk, swing on by for a slice and a plant. We’ll have both houseplants and herbs available for you to buy onsite.

It’s awfully hot out there! Our garden center will be closing at 2pm all week due to the extreme heat.

These special hours are in effect through Saturday, July 4 and we will resume our normal operating hours of 9am - 4pm on Sunday, July 5.

Well well well, who do we have here? Just a lil bee doing its lil bee thing, pollinating away and going to town on this show-stopping purple speedwell (Veronica) over in Perennials!

You can support bees and other pollinators by planting pollinator friendly plants and a diverse garden. Not sure what to plant? Just ask, we’re happy to point out some of our favorites!
