In 1980, the famous Blues Brother's mural was painted on our building and the "Shake a Tail Feather" scene was filmed out front of the store. The movie producers paid to alter our sign to read "Ray's Music Exchange". In 2001, our family had a local artist touch up the mural to remove any graffiti and keep the historical value. We have a lot of fun blues Brother's memorabilia and posters in the store for viewing. Unfortunately the building burned down in 2020 so the mural is no longer there.
