Help us get John back on his feet!
For more than 43 years, Big N Little Shoes has been a cornerstone of our community and beyond—helping generations of families find the perfect fit and offering the kind of personalized service that only a locally owned business can provide. At the heart of it all is John Goldrick, who has dedicated his life to this neighborhood and his beloved store.
In addition to running the shop, John has been a longtime member of the Ice Age Hockey league. Recently, while playing the sport he loves, John suffered a severe ankle and leg injury that has taken him off the ice—and, more importantly, off his feet and away from the store.
As a small business owner, John's livelihood depends on his ability to be present and working. This unexpected injury has caused serious financial hardship, affecting both the store and his personal life. Fortunately, he has been able to come back to the store now a couple of times a week, which just shows how dedicated he is to the store and our incredible community of customers and friends!
Now, it's our turn to support someone who has supported so many of us over the years. Your donation—no matter the amount—can help ease the burden while John focuses on healing and getting back to what he loves.
John is so incredibly thankful for all of the support and love that he has received from everyone and truly cannot thank everyone enough! He says nearly every day "We really have the best customers ever."
