Damn this is beautiful! Beats the hell ouf it the Weta Sideshow one I’ve had for years. I’m really not collecting LOTR anymore but lately between this, Gil-Galad, and Theoden on Snowmane I’ve had a hard time saying no!

Bust 024 is officially done! I’d like to thank its owner for an otherworldly amount of patience and understanding as I’ve struggled over the last couple years with finding the time, mental energy, and motivation to continue my work. ADHD is real and, particularly for me, my motivation has always been in trying new creative projects. Can I do it? How would I go about it? How can I improve it? Once a project, or medium, or task is figured out I quickly lose interest and my brain wants to find the next dopamine fix. Making these armor busts has been incredibly rewarding not only for the sake of the art itself but also in securing a small legacy in the fan community and for making friends all over the world! I can feel myself winding down, however, and suspect that the remaining two busts on my workbench may be my last. At least for some time. The familiar echoes of “I feel thin… like butter scraped over too much bread” is always in mind.

I’m not going anywhere but wanted to take this opportunity to share this latest work and shine a little light on that corner of creative mental health :)

So just FYI, the Museum Collection Glamdring tends to top out around $2500-3000 USD at most and that’s in perfect shape, all boxes and paperwork, and key. Not to be a dick, but if you’re asking $50,000+ maybe post a few more photos…
