Ain't no magic like mud magic. Here is another version of a protection charm which needs a sphere made from dirt under an oak in a circle of knives collected at night and all that magic hullabaloo that I probably heard about from some goblin under a bridge somewhere. Well that moon was blue as heck! It was so great having a good crowd at the shop for this. Lots of wonderful folks and some good magic to boot! We worked our spell of mastery with the blue moon but the idea definitely came up about what else would a blue moon's magic do?
Does anybody else have their own virtues or rituals that they link this moon with?

There's a blue moon in sagittarius topping off this month! These are pretty rare and have a good dose of power in them. We are harnessing its magic this Sunday to gain mastery over a certain skill or challenge in our lives. It will be a good chance to get casty with some other witches before we don't see the blue moon again for another 2 years! Our second annual Hexengaggle has come and gone! This is a celebration of the goosiest degree where we commemorate the end of the witch trials, honor those who were lost, and take pride in being witches today. It starts with a trial where everyone confesses their bewitching deeds, or else face ex*****on by goose flogging. (For legal reasons: it's stuffed and no one died.) All confessions were recorded, as pictured, and as it turns out, everyone present was indeed a witch!
We then worked a ritual to call on the lost ones and turn all of our woes into benefits going forward.

Is that an artichoke feta dip? No it's a potion from our recent class on benevolent faeries, how to work with them, and what to offer. Which as it turns out, is not delicious cheesy dips. Next we'll be turning the tables and focusing on the malevolent fae. Far be it from us to leave things on a happy note.
