Sprout Home believes that a modern aesthetic can live in both the home and garden. Our brick and mortar stores were created to bring about a fresh concept to the home garden center – by bridging design and flora. Sprout Home opened its doors in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, IL in 2003 and its second store in Williamsburg Brooklyn NY in 2007. Founder Tara Heibel operates the Chicago store

, while partner Tassy de Give heads up the Brooklyn home front. Sprout Home offers a full landscape design service, specializing in contemporary garden design and rooftop/deck container gardening. We’re happy to work with designers, both local and abroad, to offer our product lines that are both functional and beautiful. We offer products and plants that any urban gardener would desire, along with our hand-picked home goods. Come in for our ground basics, check out our tools and accessories and stay for our must-have plants for your garden or windowsill. Each store also boasts a lush floral design department, offering fresh cut flowers and special occasion bouquets for your wedding or event. Along side floral, we construct custom terrariums of many shapes, styles and sizes. We design our terrariums based on your specific light requirements insuring a long and successful life with proper care. Sprout Home has a door to door delivery service for floral, terrariums, and potted plants.

🎤 The long-running celebration of ambient and electronic music returns at Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago on September 10th and 11th, taking place over two beautiful days at the end of summer across the entire conservatory nature campus, including a new expanded outdoor stage. Join us on September 6 as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mort Garson’s Mother Earth’s Plantasia with a special listening party, raffle, and the debut of the new 50th Anniversary Eco Mix vinyl pressing from Sacred Bones and .

Released in 1976, Mother Earth’s Plantasia found its biggest audience decades after its original release. Sacred Bones’ 2019 helped introduce Plantasia to a wider global audience, sparking a remarkable second life for Garson’s unlikely masterpiece. To mark its 50th anniversary, Sacred Bones has created the first authorised eco-friendly edition, pressed on 100% recycled eco-green vinyl with fully recycled packaging.
