Performers Music is a classical sheet music store located in the Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue. Since opening in 1981, the store has been owned and operated by Lee Newcomer, a man whose dedication and expansive knowledge has achieved near legendary status in the classical music community of Chicago. We cater to professional performers, teachers, students, and beginners of all levels. Our s

election of sheet music is mostly classical and we also carry jazz, vocal standards and showtunes, plus a wide variety of method books for many different instruments. We have an impressive selection of recorders and recorder music and musical accessories such as stands, stand lights, reeds, mutes, and oil. The webstore lists a broad selection of what the store is capable of ordering for you and not necessarily what is on our shelves at any given point. The Fine Arts Building itself is an iconic part of the Chicago Loop, filled with interesting shops, musicians, artists, craftsmen, and a yoga studio.
