Thinking about making the OVIS sweater or Hat? Skadi is one of a couple yarn lines that would be perfect for it!

Skadi is a 3-ply DK- Worsted weight yarn made from Merino d’Arles GOTS-certified wool—with a 21 micron count, this is the softest wool native to Europe. This rare sheep breed hails from southern France and, due to the high crimp of its fleece, yarn spun from this wool has pockets of trapped air, providing insulation and resulting in warmer garments. The wool from this breed is exceptionally fluffy, bouncy, and soft.

This weekend! I’ll be set up outside the barn at the Fairgrounds for the Fiber Festival with many other fiber vendors of ALL types! There will be demos, classes, and space to just hang out and craft.
