We are excited to announce that registration for Sea to Sound 2026 is now open!

Join us on August 28th, 29th, and 30th—or participate virtually—for the eighth annual Sea to Sound as we cover 74 miles of the Olympic Discovery Trail over three days. We offer shuttling, full support for participants with mobility challenges, aid stations, lunch, entertainment, and mechanical support. Add the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula and a great group of people to ride with, and you're in for an amazing weekend.

Each year, the popularity of Sea to Sound has grown, along with demand and registration numbers. We highly recommend registering now before the event reaches capacity.

Check out DIESTCO Mfg.'s longtime friend's annual event, Ian’s Ride Sea to Sound 2026!

We are officially TWO MONTHS out from Sea to Sound 2026! Are you joining us this year?

Sea To Sound is a 70 mile, three-day, multi-modal group ride spanning the entire length of the Olympic Discovery Trail. It is also a fundraising opportunity for Ian's Ride, a 501c3 non profit in the State Of Washington. The Olympic Peninsula is the farthest northwest expanse of land one can explore along the US coast. In fact, the Rails to Trail Conservancy recently decided to add the ODT to the Great American Rail-Trail – making a route from Washington, DC to the Pacific Ocean here in Washington State. Over 3700 miles! For our event, we will offer aid stations and support along the entire route. Wheelchair users are strongly encouraged! We will support you. Just tell us what you will need.

Sea to Sound is a group ride, not a race. Participants are encouraged to ride together and follow the designated pace and route set by event organizers and ride leaders. Because support resources, volunteers, and safety personnel are coordinated around the group, it can be difficult for us to provide assistance to participants who become separated from the main ride. Riders who choose to leave the group may not have access to event support services, including route assistance, mechanical support, or aid stations.

It was an action packed weekend at the Abilities Expo in LA!

The climbing wall was a big hit and the Rollettes packed a huge crowd as always.

It was great meeting David from Courageous Comics! If you're into super heroes like we are, check out his stuff!

Also, total fan-girl moment getting to meet Shane and Hannah Burcaw.

It was so much fun, we might have to come to Chicago in June. 😏 See ya there?

With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Daniel Gregory Diestel, who peacefully passed late 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, friend, and visionary entrepreneur whose legacy touched so many. We apologize for the delay of this announcement, but the loss has been immense.

Dan was more than the founder and driving force behind DIESTCO Manufacturing; he was a true innovator who dedicated over three decades to creating products that enhanced independence and dignity for people who use various mobility devices. From the first WeatherBreaker™ canopy conceived in his garage to a company known nationwide for thoughtful, high-quality mobility accessories, his work made everyday life a little easier for countless individuals.

He faced life with courage, creativity, compassion and a constant fighting spirit. Even through a nine-year battle with cancer, he always lifted others up with his energy, passion, and heart. Whether he was building a business rooted in purpose, supporting the Chico California community through multiple philanthropies, or cheering on his beloved San Francisco 49ers and SF Giants, Dan lived life fully and with deep love for those around him.

As we grieve his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that will continue to inspire. In lieu of flowers or sympathies, donations may be made in his honor to causes that reflect his spirit of accessibility and compassion, including: Ian’s Ride, the American Cancer Society, and Special Olympics Northern California.

Thank you, Dan. We will never forget your vision, your kindness, your fighting spirit and the profound difference you made in the world. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️
